These compact, robust connectors with a fine pitch enable high connection density in a small space. Available friction latch configurations enable increased protection against accidental disconnect when using a box header. IDC offers a quick and cost-effective way to terminate many wires by hand without requiring automatic or semi-automated equipment compared to crimping or soldering. The 3M 451 Ribbon Cable Sockets offer a 1A to 2.5A current range, 125V_AC voltage rating, and -65°C to +125°C operating temperature range.
