Thermistors

EPCOS / TDK Thermistors include negative temperature coefficient (NTC) and positive temperature coefficient (PTC) thermistors. The NTC thermistors offer a nickel barrier termination and long-term stability in high-temperature and high-humidity environments. The PTC series features thermally sensitive semiconductor resistors made of ceramic components in which electrical resistance rapidly increases when a certain temperature is exceeded. EPCOS / TDK Thermistors provide voltage and noise suppression as well as temperature measurement and compensation in measurement and control engineering, entertainment, household and automotive electronics, data systems, and telecommunications applications.

EPCOS / TDK offers various types of varistors and thermistors that provide voltage and noise suppression as well as temperature measurement and compensation in automotive applications. 

B572xV2 SMD 0402 NTC Thermistors

EPCOS / TDK B572xV2 SMD 0402 NTC Thermistors provide 150mW maximum power and ±1%, ±3%, or ±5% resistance tolerance. These thermistors feature a multilayer SMD NTC with inner electrodes and a nickel barrier termination in a 0402 (1005) EIA case size. The B572xV2 series offers a short response time, high mechanical robustness, and excellent long-term aging stability in high-temperature environments. EPCOS / TDK B572xV2 SMD 0402 NTC Thermistors are designed for an operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C. Typical applications include temperature measurement and temperature compensation.
