Eaton Electronics 16V XVM Supercapacitor Modules achieve higher voltage, power, or discharge time through series or parallel connection of multiple modules. These supercapacitors are unique, ultra-high capacitance devices that utilize electrochemical double-layer capacitor construction combined with high-performance materials. This allows for capacitor solutions tailored to a specific application. These 16V XVM modules are a compact size for easy mounting as a replacement for, or in conjunction with, a 12V battery. Eaton 16V XVM Supercapacitor Modules are a highly reliable green solution for pulse or backup power applications.

Supercapacitor Modules

Eaton Electronics Supercapacitor Modules are constructed by combining multiple supercapacitor cells to boost the overall energy and power output. These modules consist of interconnected cells, frequently in series and parallel configurations. By combining multiple cells, the modules provide higher voltages and expand energy storage capacities. Eaton Supercapacitor Modules feature the appropriate circuitry for monitoring and balancing cells. The lineup includes the following series: XLM, XLR, XLR-LV, XTM-18, XVM, and XLHV. Applications include transportation and automotive, renewable energy systems, industrial equipment and machinery, uninterruptable power supplies (UPS), grid stabilization and peak shaving, and medical devices.
