Consumer Drone Systems

Littelfuse Consumer Drone Systems offer solutions for battery chargers, battery systems, and payload systems. These systems provide Schottky diodes for output rectification/reverse blocking, TVS diodes for secondary protection against voltage transients, and fuses to protect the power stage from overcurrent. The systems offer USB-C® for consumer drones with a 5V to 48V range and up to 240W (typical 100W to 140W), and provide battery protection for <60V. Typical applications include photography/video, FPV racing, and recreational flying.

Commercial & Tactical UAV Systems

Littelfuse Commercial and Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Systems offer solutions for Li-Ion battery protection, battery chargers, and power distribution. These systems provide fuses for input protection/overcurrent protection, MOSFETs for semiconductor switching, and TVS diodes for DC output transient/surge protection. The commercial and tactical UAV systems offer battery protection >60V and provide main-pack fault isolation, battery disconnect/power path control (pre-charge support), and branch circuit overcurrent protection. Typical applications include Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), military, border surveillance, agriculture, delivery/logistics, inspection, and public safety.

Power Semiconductors

Littelfuse Power Semiconductors are designed to meet the requirements for commercial and industrial applications. Littelfuse's line of power semiconductors have features like ultra-fast switching, low recovery time, high junction temperature capability, and low forward drop. These semiconductors allow for high reliability in high ambient temperatures or applications with minimal cooling available.

Fuel-Powered/Hybrid Military UAV Systems

Littelfuse Fuel-Powered/Hybrid Military Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Systems offer solutions for power conversion and DC bus, power distribution, and charger/ground power. These systems support power conversion and a DC bus with a rectifier diode that converts AC line voltage to DC. The fuel-powered/hybrid military Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) systems provide TVS diodes, fuses, and MOSFETs for semiconductor switches, surge protection, and rectification. These systems offer AEC-Q/MIL-grade products across various functions. Typical applications include Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), military, and border surveillance.

MBR Schottky Barrier Rectifiers

Littelfuse MBR Schottky Barrier Rectifiers (Standard Schottky) are designed for commercial and industrial applications and suitable for high-frequency switch-mode power supplies.  The MBR provides super-fast switching speed, very low forward voltage drop, high temperature, and low leakage performance. The rectifiers offer high reliability in high ambient temperatures or applications with minimal cooling available. The MBR minimize power loss and have greater efficiency during converter operation with super-fast switching speed and a very low forward voltage. Littelfuse MBR Schottky Barrier Rectifiers provide higher reliability in harsh, high-temperature environments.

Drone Subsystems

Littelfuse Drone Subsystems offer solutions for USB-C PD and Li-ion battery chargers, battery pack systems, and BLDC motors. These subsystems offer fuses for various functions, including AC input overcurrent protection and fault isolation, protection of the battery and downstream controller, pack, wiring, and controller. The drone subsystems provide TVS diodes for primary-side switching transient suppression and cell monitor IC sense line input overvoltage protection. These subsystems are appropriate for various drones, including toy, camera, First-Person View (FPV), enterprise, industrial, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), inspection/mapping, agriculture, and heavy lift. Typical applications include delivery/logistics, public safety, border surveillance, and military.

Intelligent Outlet Solutions

Littelfuse Intelligent Outlet Solutions components feature smart outlets and light dimmers that can be controlled via apps or virtual assistants. The Littelfuse product line includes PICO® II 473 Slo-Blo® Fuses, UltraMOV 14mm Varistors, SJ SCR Switching Thyristors, Thyristor Triacs, IX4340 Gate Drivers, and 650V X2 MOSFETs. The intelligent outlets plug into or replace traditional outlets and allow users to control what is plugged into them through an app or virtual assistant. The smart light dimmers are also remotely controlled. Instead of diverting energy from the light bulb into a resistor, the modern light bulb circuit is switched off many times per second around the fluctuation of household alternating current for efficiency.
