IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers

ISSI IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers come with fade in/out and PWM dimming. The regulators serve as a stand-alone LED driver-configurable from 20mA to 150mA with external resistors, no microcontroller is necessary. A logic level “courtesy light” signal from the PWM pin can be interfaced to precisely drive the LED channel. The IS32LT3175P obtains a positive polarity PWM signal. In addition, the IS32LT3175N obtains a negative polarity PWM signal. The regulator integrates a 63-step fade-in and fades out the algorithm (Gamma correction). This causes the output LED current to increasingly rise up to the full source value after the EN pin is pulsed.

LM2796 Dual-Display White LED Driver

Texas Instruments LM2796 Dual-Display White LED Driver is a charge-pump-based white-LED driver ideal for mobile phone display backlighting. This device can drive up to 7 LEDs in parallel with up to 20mA through each LED. The regulated internal current sources deliver excellent current and brightness matching in all LEDs. The Texas Instruments LM2796 current sources are split into two independently controlled groups. The primary group (4 LEDs) can be used to backlight the main phone display. The second group (3 LEDs) can be used to backlight a secondary display or to provide other lighting features (keypad LEDs, for example). The brightness of each group can be adjusted independently with pulse-width modulated (PWM) digital signals.
