SmartMesh IP網路是由高擴充性、自我管理的多重跳躍網狀無線節點（稱為Mote）組成。SmartMesh Mote和網路管理器的核心為Eterna IEEE 802.15.4e系統單晶片 (SoC)。此SoC採用Analog Devices高整合度、低功耗的2.4GHz無線電設計。亦搭載ARM Cortex-M3 32位元微處理器，用於執行SmartMesh連網軟體。

SmartMesh IP
Analog Devices的SmartMesh IP產品是以6LoWPAN和802.15.4e標準為基礎，具有低耗電量，即使在嚴峻高動態變化的射頻環境下資料可靠度亦超過99.999%。SmartMesh IP網路由負責收集和轉寄資料的Mote、負責監控及管理網路效能的網路管理器，以及與主機應用交換資料的安全性功能組成。
SmartMesh IP MoteSmartMesh IP Mote為SmartMesh IP網路中的無線節點，其可連接至感測器/致動器，從其他Ｍote路由資料，並維持低功耗。

SmartMesh IP Manager
EManager，或稱嵌入式管理器，以Manager-on-Chip™的方式運行，存取點功能和網路管理演算法在SmartMesh IP 802.15.4硬體上執行。EManagers支援網路中最多100個Mote，適合低功耗的閘道運作。

SmartMesh IP VManager
VManager
是一款軟體型的管理器和獨立式的存取點Mote，其功能包括：
• 大型網路 – 單一網路最多50,000個Mote
• 可利用多重存取點提高頻寬
• 熱容錯移轉閘道備援
VManager軟體在x86虛擬機器 (VM) 上運行，其可安裝在從雲端伺服器到低功耗嵌入式x86型處理器等各種硬體平台上。VManager軟體由Linear Technology以預先編譯且通過測試的VM應用程式提供，可能在VMWare或Oracle VirtualBox VM上運行。

SmartMesh WirelessHART
Analog Devices的SmartMesh WirelessHART產品是專為重視低功耗、可靠度、彈性和擴充性的嚴峻工業環境所設計，適合用於一般工業應用和WirelessHART專屬設計。SmartMesh WirelessHART符合WirelessHART (IEC 62591) 標準，為同級中耗電量最低的產品。

• 裝置驗證：有三個安全性逐漸增強的裝置驗證層級可供選擇
• 加密：128位元AES加密，有多重金鑰可確保資料的隱私和機密性
• 訊息完整度檢查 (MIC)： 傳送的資料會用訊息驗證碼加以保護，確保資料不被竄改
• 同步金鑰更換： 整個網路會自動更換為加密金鑰
• 自訂金鑰輪替：決定網路應該變更金鑰的頻率，在提高安全性和提高網路流量兩者間權衡
