NCP106x & NCP107x High-Voltage Switchers

onsemi NCP106x & NCP107x High-Voltage Switchers have a built-in 700V MOSFET and integrated fixed-frequency current-mode controller. The switchers have a high level of integration, including soft-start, frequency-jittering, and short-circuit protection. The onsemi NCP106x & NCP107x switchers have a skip-cycle operation at low peak currents, fixed ramp compensation, and adjustable peak current. A Dynamic Self-Supply (DSS) eliminates the need for auxiliary winding. NCP106x & NCP107x are available in PDIP-7, SOIC-10, or SOIC-16 packages.

NCP107x High-Voltage Switchers

onsemi NCP107x High-Voltage Switchers for Low Power Offline SMPS integrate a fixed frequency current mode controller with a 700 V MOSFET. Available in a PDIP−7 or SOT−223 package, the NCP107x offers a high level of integration, including soft−start, frequency−jittering, short−circuit protection, skip−cycle, a maximum peak current set point, ramp compensation, and a Dynamic Self−Supply. The NCP107x is quiet by nature: during nominal load operation, the part switches at one of the available frequencies (65, 100 or 130kHz). When the output power demand diminishes, the IC automatically enters frequency foldback mode and provides excellent efficiency at light loads.
