UL 913 Certified Products

Littelfuse UL 913 Certified products are a wide range of devices designed for various applications. UL 913 is the standard for Intrinsically Safe Apparatus and Associated Apparatus for Use in Class I, II, III, Division 1, Hazardous (Classified) Locations. UL 913 requirements also apply to apparatus or parts of apparatus for installation and use in Zone 20, Groups IIIA, IIIB, and IIIC hazardous (classified) locations in accordance with the requirements of the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70. UL 913 requirements also cover associated apparatus located outside of the hazardous (classified) location whose design and construction may influence the intrinsic safety of an electrical circuit within the hazardous (classified) location. These requirements are based on consideration of ignition in locations classified as a hazardous location by the presence of flammable or combustible material under normal atmospheric conditions.

PICO® 305 Fuses

Littelfuse PICO® 305 Fuses are encapsulated fuses approved under the UL913 standard for Intrinsically Safe Electrical Equipment to operate in hazardous locations. Littelfuse 305 Fuses are ideal for use in the oil, gas, mining, chemical, pharmaceutical, food/beverage processing industries. The 305 series was designed to limit the energy and heat generated during its operation. The fuse design and its encapsulation are suitable for use in intrinsically safe apparatus and associated apparatus for voltages up 277V.
