SK54-3G SMD Schottky Barrier Rectifier Diodes

Diotec Semiconductor SK54-3G SMD Schottky Barrier Rectifier Diodes use third-generation Schottky chip technology. The SK54-3G comes in a DO-214AA/SMB package and has 5A/40V of nominal current and voltage rating. It's ideal for the output rectifier stage of LED lamp drivers. Those devices are often built into suspended ceilings where heat removal is limited. This requires components with low power losses but also very good heat dissipation. The SK54-3G offers a very low V_F of 250mV at 1A, and a low I_R of 500µA at 3V, both at 125°C junction temperature and specified for typical operating parameters of Power LEDs. Low forward voltage and reverse current help to reduce power losses and thus save energy. The SMB package provides a very low thermal resistance junction to a terminal of 25K/W, which allows operation even at higher ambient temperatures.

SKx Schottky Barrier Rectifier Diodes

Diotec Semiconductor SKx Schottky Barrier Rectifier Diodes feature a low forward voltage drop and high average forward current. Diodes with the -AQ suffix are AEC-Q101 qualified. These SKx diodes come in a UL 94V-0 case material and a -50°C to +150°C operating junction temperature range. Diotec Semiconductor SKx Schottky Barrier Rectifier Diodes are ideal for output rectification in DC/DC converters, polarity protection, free-wheeling diodes, and applications in commercial/industrial, and automotive-grade environments.
