HV9919 High Brightness LED Driver

Microchip HV9919 High Brightness LED Driver is a PWM controller IC that drives high brightness LEDs using a buck topology. Microchip HV9919 LED driver operates from an input voltage of 4.5V_DC to 40V_DC and employs hysteric control with a high-side current sense resistor to set the constant output current. The operating frequency range of the HV9919 high brightness LED driver can be set by selecting the proper inductor. Operation at high switching frequency is possible since the hysteric control maintains accuracy even at high frequencies. This Microchip device achieves LED brightness control with PWM dimming from an analog or PWM input signal. Unique PWM circuitry allows true constant color with a high dimming range. The dimming frequency is programmed using a single external capacitor.

IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers

ISSI IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers come with fade in/out and PWM dimming. The regulators serve as a stand-alone LED driver-configurable from 20mA to 150mA with external resistors, no microcontroller is necessary. A logic level “courtesy light” signal from the PWM pin can be interfaced to precisely drive the LED channel. The IS32LT3175P obtains a positive polarity PWM signal. In addition, the IS32LT3175N obtains a negative polarity PWM signal. The regulator integrates a 63-step fade-in and fades out the algorithm (Gamma correction). This causes the output LED current to increasingly rise up to the full source value after the EN pin is pulsed.
