Ethernet Remote IO

Brainboxes Ethernet Remote IO devices are available as digital IO, analog IO, relay, and thermocouple, controlled over Ethernet using a range of protocols, and in industrial and commercial/light industrial form factors. These remote IO modules feature a suite of software application programming interfaces (API), including for Visual Basic, C#, and C++, which allows them to be controlled and monitored over the local network or internet as a web relay or Ethernet relay switch. Brainboxes Ethernet Remote IO devices provide a wide variety of functionality, enabling the automation of a broad range of tasks in process control, data collection, food preparation, packaging, warehousing, and industrial manufacturing by connecting real-world field devices over Ethernet to a controller PC.

ED-582 Ethernet to RTD Remote IO Module

Brainboxes ED-582 Ethernet to RTD Remote IO Module is designed for 4 high-precision RTD inputs and supports a simple ASCII Ethernet port. The ED-582 remote module comes with a non-conducting polyamide casing with removable numbered terminal blocks for easy wiring. This IO module features a serial expansion port suitable for ADAM modules, an integral DIN mount, and a slim design that takes up minimal cabinet space. The ED-582 remote IO module has a suite of software APIs available for Microsoft^® .NET, C#, Visual Basic, C++, JavaScript, PHP, Java, Objective-C, and Python. The module offers robust and intelligent 'control side' devices that provide the interface to systems on the 24V factory floor environment, referred to as 'process side'. This remote IO module operates from 5V to 30V power input voltage range and -30ºC to 80ºC temperature range.
