The device is ideal for protecting voltage-sensitive high-speed data lines like USB 3.0 and HDMI. The flow-through style package allows easy PCB layout and ensures matched trace lengths, maintaining consistent impedance.

Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Devices

onsemi Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) devices are used to protect circuits from electrical overstress. This electrostatic stress can be caused by either Electro-Static Discharge (ESD), inductive load switching, or lighting. These TVS devices feature fast response time, low clamping voltage, low capacitance, and low leakage current that are ideal for transient surge suppression.
