MAX66240EVKIT Tag Evaluation Kit

Analog Devices MAX66240EVKIT Tag Evaluation Kit is a demonstration and evaluation platform for the MAX66240 DeepCover® Secure Authenticator, featuring an integrated hexagonal-shaped antenna. The MAX66240EVKIT is designed to be used with an NFC-enabled phone or tablet, utilizing an Android Application downloaded from the Google Play Store. The MAX662XX SHA2 Android Application supports several functions on the Analog Devices MAX66240EVKIT Tag Evaluation Kit, including reading tag UID, reading/writing data into tag user memory (ASCII data entry for block-write is not supported with this version), performing authenticated writes, and computing/comparing message authentication codes (MAC).

MAX66240 DeepCover® Secure Authenticator

Analog Devices MAX66240 DeepCover® Secure Authenticator is a transponder IC that combines an ISO/IEC 15693 and ISO 18000-3 Mode 1-compatible RF Front-end, a FIPS 180-based SHA-256 engine, and 4096 bits of user EEPROM in a single chip. A bidirectional security model enforces two-way authentication between a host system and the MAX66240. Each device has its own guaranteed unique 64-bit ROM ID that is factory programmed into the chip. This ROM ID is used as a fundamental input parameter for cryptographic operations and serves as an electronic serial number within the application. The Analog Devices MAX66240 DeepCover Secure Authenticator is offered in Pb-free and RoHS-compliant SO-8 and TDFN-10 packages.
