Mikroe Clock Gen 4 Click contains a clock generator and a multiplier/jitter-reduced clock frequency synthesizer. Mikroe Clock Gen 4 Click board features the Cirrus Logic CS2200-CP analog PLL architecture composed of a Delta-Sigma fractional-N frequency synthesizer. The clocking device utilizes a programmable phase lock loop, allowing frequency synthesis and clock generation from a stable reference clock. It generates a low-jitter PLL clock from an external crystal and supports I2C and SPI for full software control. It also has a configurable auxiliary clock output. The board is ideal for MCU clock sources or applications like digital-effects processors and digital mixing consoles.
