Optical Encoder Position Sensing Solutions

The optical encoders use a photosensor to detect light through a disk. Sine and cosine signals are interpolated to improve resolution. The encoder resolution is determined by the number of slots and the interpolation resolution. The Analog Devices Optical Encoders provide scalable solutions in both size and resolution.
