FTDI Chip UMFT4222EV Development Module

FTDI UMFT4222EV Development Module is an evaluation and prototyping platform for the FT4222H USB 2.0 to Quad SPI / I2C Bridge IC. The FT4222H provides a highly advanced, feature-rich single-chip bridging solution with support for multiple data lines and a wide variety of configurations to maximize design flexibility. The FT4222H's SPI configurable interface allows the device to serve as an SPI Master/Slave interface controller and support all 4 SPI modes. The device delivers single, dual, and quad data width transfer with total data rates of up to 27Mbit/s. The integrated configurable I2C Master/Slave interface controller conforms completely with both I2C v2.1 and v3.0 specifications.

Designed as a small PCB, The FTDI Chip UMFT4222EV Development Module plugs into a standard 0.8" wide 24-pin DIP socket. The Development Module includes a pre-mounted FT4222H in a VQF-32 package along with a 12MHz crystal and all other required circuitry. 

With the UMFT4222EV Module, users can easily configure chip mode through the onboard jumpers. A chip reset or power cycling is required after changing the configuration.
