Amphenol Aerospace 6U VPX DK6 "The Croc" Development Chassis
Amphenol Aerospace 6U VPX DK6 "The Croc" Development Chassis is a flexible benchtop platform featuring scalability to support rapid development, demonstration, and evaluation of 6U VPX and SOSA-aligned systems. The DK6 allows short design cycles for quick deployment. The DK6 provides fast backplane replacement and conversion between air and conduction-cooled slot inserts. The device's open frame design incorporates a backplane, power supply, fan cooling, and rear transition slots supporting various test functions.
The Amphenol Aerospace DK6 Chassis is available with an 8-slot, 1.2" pitch power, and ground backplane. The DK6 has a balanced 12V / 5V power supply for mixed power payloads that support current and emerging VPX and SOSA-aligned module power requirements.
The DK6 is part of Amphenol's development solutions supporting VPX system development and the hardware convergence and interoperability initiatives of the US Department of Defense.
