Analog Devices Inc. EV-ADuM7801-8FMCZ Evaluation Board

Analog Devices EV-ADuM7801-8FMCZ Evaluation Board is a fully featured platform for evaluating the ADuM7801 isolated ADC with a Σ-Δ modulated bitstream output. The board supports simplified device assessment with on-board power supplies, signal access through SMA connectors, test points for measurement, and standalone capability for flexible bench evaluation.

The evaluation board incorporates an ADuM6028-5 isoPower® DC-to-DC converter, an ADP7104 low-noise LDO regulator, and an ADP7142 low-noise CMOS LDO regulator to support multiple supply configurations. The Analog Devices EV-ADuM7801-8FMCZ Evaluation Board also supports PC-based control and data analysis through ACE Software. It can operate in standalone mode or in a ZedBoard-controlled setup, depending on the selected link configuration.

The evaluation board is designed to help users explore the ADuM7801 isolated ADC in shunt-resistor current monitoring and other high-voltage isolated measurement use cases supported by the target device. The board is intended for the ADuM7801 8-lead SOIC package with creepage and clearance exceeding 8.0mm, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
