Broadcom ACPL-334J/338J IGBT Gate Drive Optocouplers

Broadcom ACPL-334J/338J IGBT Gate Drive Optocouplers are advanced 3A output current and easy-to-use intelligent gate drivers. These optocouplers feature integrated VCE detection, Under-Voltage Lockout (UVLO), soft IGBT turn-off, and isolated open collector fault feedback. The ACPL-334J/338J optocouplers provide maximum design flexibility and circuit protection through active Miller clamping. These gate drivers include an AlGaAs LED optically coupled to an integrated circuit with a power output stage. The ACPL-334J/338J optocouplers support reinforced insulation, certified by safety regulatory UL, CSA, and IEC. These gate drivers come in an SO16 package with 8.3mm creepage and clearance dimensions. Typical applications include power supply and charger, renewable energy inverter and storage, and motor drive for industrial automation and robotics.
