Amphenol AIRMAR 300WX WeatherStation® Instruments
Amphenol AIRMAR 300WX WeatherStation® Instruments deliver accurate wind speed and direction from moving vehicles. The 300WX WeatherStation instruments are rugged, compact, and maintenance-free instruments with zero moving parts for unmatched reliability. These all-in-one multisensors capture up to seven environmental parameters and seamlessly deliver that data with on-board systems and mobile devices through the CAST™ app. These WeatherStation® Instruments are available in two variants: IP-64 with relative humidity and IP-67 with no relative humidity.
The 300WX instruments calculate the dynamic true wind speed and direction from the apparent wind, the vehicle's speed, and its heading. When the WeatherStation instrument is mounted on a moving (dynamic) platform, the apparent wind is the wind felt on your hand if you held it out while moving. The CAST™ app connects directly from iOS and Android™ smart devices to 300WX WeatherStation instruments. Typical applications include mobile weather vehicles, agricultural vehicle system integration, autonomous vehicle navigation and data collection, construction site awareness, and commercial vehicles.
300WX WeatherStation® Instruments with Relative Humidity
The 300WX WeatherStation® Instruments include Relative Humidity (RH) and are IP64-rated. These instruments are engineered for professionals who operate in motion, such as agricultural operators, autonomous vehicle designers, marine integrators, and industrial operators. The 300WX WeatherStation® instruments with relative humidity combine GNSS, a stabilized 3‑axis compass, and motion sensors to correct motion‑induced apparent wind.
300WX-IP67 WeatherStation® Instruments- No Relative Humidity
The 300WX-IP67 WeatherStation® Instruments deliver the same next-generation intelligence as the 300WX, but in a fully sealed, IP67-rated housing. These instruments are engineered for continuous exposure to water, dust, vibration, and harsh marine conditions. The 300WX-IP67 devices are ideal for offshore platforms, buoys, unmanned surface vehicles, commercial workboats, and long-duration autonomous deployments.
