Ezurio Vela IF820 Development Kits

Ezurio Vela IF820 Development Kits are a fully-featured evaluation platform for the Vela IF820 BLUETOOTH® Dual Mode module. These development kits offer evaluation of radio performance as well as the creation of prototypes and application-specific designs. The Vela IF820 development kits utilize a high-performance Raspberry Pi RP2040 as a USB interface MCU to provide a USB-UART bridge and I/O control features. These development kits feature one color LED connected to the Vela IF820 for user programming and a Qwiic connector for a module I2C. The Vela IF820 development kits operate at 5V supply voltage, with 72.5mm x 50mm x 14.2mm dimensions. These development kits are ideally used in home automation, asset tracking devices, secure medical peripherals, and industrial IoT sensors.

  • One color LED connected to the Vela IF820 for user programming
  • Qwiic connector for a module I2C
  • One recovery button for the module to enter download mode
  • On-board 3v3 supplied from either USB (5V) or reserved external pin header(J6) (5V)
  • Supports module VDDIO at 3v3
  • MikroE socket for module SPI, I2C interface, and also module RST, GPIOs
  • Two tri-color with white LEDs for user interaction, one connected to the Vela IF820 and the other to the RP2040One color LED connected to the Vela IF820 for user programming
  • Ability to measure the Vela IF820 module current (J9)
  • I2C EEPROM connected to RP2040 to store settings
  • 16Mbit QSPI Flash with BOOTSEL button for the RP2040 firmware storage
  • 5V supply voltage
  • 72.5mm x 50mm x 14.2mm dimensions
