Hammond Manufacturing 1471 Type 12 Console Cabinets
Hammond Manufacturing 1471 Type 12 Console Cabinets feature a heavy-duty construction that provides protection from oil, dirt, dust, and water. These cabinets include a sloping front control panel that provides a suitable surface for mounting operator controls or instrumentation. The 1471 series Type 12 console cabinets consist of an interior mounting provision on removable inner panels on the rear and sides of the enclosure. These cabinets are designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic, or pneumatic controls and instruments. The Type 12 console cabinets comply with UL 508A Type 12, CSA Type 12, NEMA Type 12, IEC 60529, and IP54 standards.

- Formed 14 gauge steel
- Smooth and continuously welded seams without cutouts, knockouts, or holes
- Continuously hinged door and front instrument panel may be removed by pulling the hinge pin
- Doors are secured with a 3-point latch and operated with a key-locking automotive-type handle
- Oil-resistant gaskets are permanently secured
- Consists 3 removable inner panels formed from 12 gauge steel, mounted to the back and sides of the enclosure interior
- Includes collar studs for mounting inner panels
- Door includes a bonding stud, and the enclosure includes a grounding stud for each door
