Mikroe MIKROE-2971 Buck 3 Click
Mikroe MIKROE-2971 Buck 3 Click is an advanced synchronous step-down (buck) converter. This Click board is equipped with an onboard step-down converter IC that integrates low RDS(ON) MOSFETs which allow high current output, up to 8A. The MIKROE-2971 click board features D-CAP3™ technology for low external components count. This click board operates at 800kHz and provides an optimal balance between the efficiency and the size of the used components. The discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) and Eco-mode™ ensure that the efficiency is maintained even while working with light loads.
The MIKROE-2971 Buck 3 Click features a 4.5V to 17V input, 8A synchronous step-down TPS568215 SWIFT™ converter. This converter features ripple and noise-free operation and provides high efficiency. The MIKROE-2971 also features overvoltage and under voltage protection, thermal protection, current limiting, and soft start function. This click board finds its applications in low-power ICs, set-top boxes, telecom, networking, and FPGA embedded applications.
