NXP Semiconductors MCX C15/C16 Microcontrollers - Coming Soon

NXP Semiconductors MCX C15/C16 Microcontrollers with Arm® Cortex®-M23 are low-cost, entry-level MCUs designed for industrial and IoT applications that require efficient analog and control capabilities without moving to a higher-cost platform. The devices run an Arm Cortex-M23 core at up to 72MHz and offer memory configurations with up to 64KB of flash and 16KB of SRAM, providing a scalable migration path from legacy 8-bit, 16-bit, and Cortex-M0+ devices.

Precision analog and motor-control features help move the MCX C15/C16 beyond basic entry-level MCU use. The NXP MCX C15 and MCX C16 MCUs integrate a 16-bit SAR ADC, a high-speed comparator with an internal 8-bit DAC, an OpAmp with programmable gain, and a FlexPWM module with three submodules for six complementary PWM outputs. The devices are well-suited for sensing, control, and cost-sensitive embedded designs.

The MCX C15/C16 Microcontrollers are designed for consumer and industrial products, including hand-held devices, power tools, lighting, fan control, alarms, medical devices, and ground fault circuit interrupters. The MCX C15/C16 supports an operating range of 1.71V to 3.6V, an extended temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, and package options spanning QFP48, QFN48, and QFN32.
