NXP Semiconductors TWR-56F8400 Tower® System Development Board

NXP Semiconductors TWR-56F8400 Tower® System Development Board is an evaluation and demonstration platform based on the MC56F84789 Digital Signal Controller (DSC), ideal for Motor and Digital Power control applications. The TWR-56F8400 Development Board can be used as a standalone tool or used in conjunction with the Tower System peripheral boards, including the LV3PH motor control kit (TWR-MC-LV3PH module).

The NXP Semiconductors TWR-56F8400 Tower System Development Board is also available in a kit, which includes the TWR-MC-LV3PH Tower System Motor Control Module, a BLDC Motor, and an external power supply.

  • Easy access scope probe points for each pin of the MC56F84789 device
  • Integrates to the Tower Peripherals boards, including the TWR-MC-LV3PH module
  • Motor control board connector for the APMOTOR56F8000E motor control board
  • Four Thermistors for single-ended or differential analog inputs to the MC56F84789 DSC
  • CAN transceiver, header, and termination
  • Preloaded with an application demonstrating the ADC and an FIR filter application
  • 9 LEDs controlled by the MC56F84789 DSC
