ROHM Semiconductor RESDxVx ESD Protection Diodes
ROHM Semiconductor RESDxVx ESD Protection Diodes are designed for high-speed data communication interfaces in automotive, industrial, and consumer applications, even if data rates exceed 10Gbps. These diodes combine ultra-low capacitance with low dynamic resistance to minimize signal degradation while providing robust IC protection. The RESDxVx ESD diodes feature 0.24pF ultra-low terminal capacitance, 0.28Ω dynamic resistance, and 40% lower clamping voltage than conventional solutions. These ESD diodes are AEC-Q101 qualified and are suitable for automotive systems such as ADAS and ECUs.
The RESDxVx ESD diodes are suitable for high-density board designs and are available in a compact DFN1006-2W and DSN0603-2J packages. Typical applications include AI servers and data centers, 5G/6G base stations, communication infrastructure, routers, gaming consoles, smartphones, tablets, USB, HDMI, and PCIe interface protection, and ADAS.
