Same Sky AMT21 Absolute Capacitive Modular Encoders
Same Sky AMT21 High Accuracy Absolute Modular Encoders output 12-bits or 14-bits of absolute position information with RS-485 communication. This rugged series offers an innovative capacitive platform and resists contaminants such as dirt, dust, and oil. The encoder design simplifies the assembly process, reducing mounting and alignment time with the One Touch Zero™ feature. Same Sky AMT21 High Accuracy Absolute Modular Encoders have an operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C, high accuracy, a compact package, and low current draw. The AMT21 series is ideal for industrial, automation, robotics, and renewable energy applications.
The AMT21 series includes adjustable data rate encoders that offer adjustable rates of 115,200bps, 34,400bps, 19,200bps, or 9,600bps. The non-adjustable type offers a typical 2Mbps data rate.
The AMT21-V kits include nine sleeve options ranging from 2mm to 8mm, two simple mounting tools, and one standard and one wide baseplate with multiple pre-drilled mounting hole patterns designed to mate with a broad range of motors.
