Silicon Labs CP21xx Smart Interface ICs leverage Silicon Labs' world-class mixed-signal design expertise to provide a family of high-performance interface devices that enable designers to differentiate their products and speed time-to-market. These mixed-signal IC products span different technologies and standards to enable quick and effective communication between two devices or functionalities. These devices include USB to UART bridges, ISB to I2S digital audio bridges, HID USB to SMBus/I2C bridges, and SPI to I2C bridge with GPIO port expanders, and USB to SPI bridges.The CP2104, CP2105, CP2110, CP2112, and CP2130 connectivity bridges are the latest additions to Silicon Labs' industry-leading Smart Interface family. The CP21xx family of devices extends the Smart Interface portfolio to include cost-sensitive USB to UART (CP2104), USB to Dual UART (CP2105), HID-USB to UART (CP2110), HID-USB to SMBUS/I2C bridge (CP2112), and USB to SPI (CP2130) solutions. Common to the CP2104, CP2105, CP2110, CP2112, and CP2130 connectivity bridges are royalty-free software driver suites, crystal-less operation, in-system programming memory, and small 4mm x 4mm packages that, in combination, reduce cost, simplify design, and shorten development time. The CP21xxEK evaluation kits allow for complete evaluation and customization of these devices.
