SparkFun WRL-15031 WiFi IR Blaster

SparkFun WRL-15031 WiFi IR Blaster is designed to connect legacy infrared-controlled devices to a Wi-Fi network. The SparkFun IR Blaster can control a TV via a web browser, schedule triggers to IR-controlled LED strips, or connect through a smart home device. The IR Blaster combines a Wi-Fi/microcontroller chip (ESP8266) with IR emitters and receivers. The chip can be programmed to interface HTTP, MQTT, TCP, and infrared-controlled devices. The chip also has a crystal, 4MB flash, and a PCB. The IR emitter and detector components are packaged with the board and can be soldered in place.
