STMicroelectronics VNHD7008AY H-bridge Motor Driver
STMicroelectronics VNHD7008AY H-bridge Motor Driver is an AEC-Q100 qualified, DC Motor Driver designed for automotive applications. The VNHD7008AY integrates a fully protected dual high-side driver and the drivers and protections for the two external power MOSFETs in a low-side configuration. The VNHD7008AY Motor Driver features VIPower® M0 technology that allows the device to efficiently integrate on the same die a true PowerMOSFET with an intelligent signal/ protection circuitry. The VNHD7008A is housed in a PowerSSO-36 Exposed Pad Package to optimize the dissipation performances. The INA and INB input signals can directly interface the microcontroller to select motor direction and brake conditions. Two selection pins (SEL0 and SEL1) are available to address the microcontroller the information available on the MultiSense. The MultiSense pin can monitor the motor current, providing a voltage proportional to the battery value and the information on the temperature of the chip.
