TE Connectivity 25G 0.5mm Free Height Connectors connect computer-on-module (COM) and COM Express modules to carrier boards. These connectors are two-piece, open pin field connectors designed for use in parallel stacking board-to-board applications. The 25G 0.5mm free height connectors support up to 25GT/s data transmission and are compatible with PCIe Gen 4 applications. These connectors support more position options, including 40, 80, 120, 160, 220, and 440 pin configurations. The 25G 0.5mm free height connectors feature an enhanced contact design that can enable better signal integrity performance. These connectors offer connection solutions with various plug and receptacle height combinations and provide design flexibility by allowing spacing variation between parallel boards.
The 25G 0.5mm free height connectors offer the same footprint to COM Express standards and do not require changing PCB footprints when upgrading applications. These connectors are ideal for COM designs, embedding modules, customized carrier/PC/control boards, medical devices and equipment, telecommunication equipment, and security devices.
