Vishay LH1525 Solid-State Relay (SSR)

Vishay LH1525 Solid-State Relays (SSRs) are single-pole single-throw (SPST) normally open switch (1 Form A) designed to replace electromechanical relays in many applications. The Vishay LH1525 SSR is constructed using a Gallium Aluminum Arsenide (GaAIAs) LED for actuation control and MOSFETs for the switching output. This device employs current-limiting circuitry and can be configured for AC-DC or DC-only operation.

The LH1525 requires a minimal amount of LED drive current to operate, making it ideal for battery-powered applications or in applications where power management is a concern. The LH1525 is ideal for use in instrumentation applications where fast switching speed is critical. This device can also be used in telecom applications where its robust current-limit circuitry will protect the relay from lightning and other fault conditions commonly present on telephone lines.

The Vishay LH1525 Solid-State Relay is available in DIP-6 and SMD-6 packages and is RoHS compliant, Pb-free, and halogen-free.
