Current Sense Resistors

Ohmite Current Sense Resistors are available in many popular sizes and packages. These resistors are used to monitor current in a circuit via a voltage drop and control circuit. Current sense resistors are characterized by low values to minimize power consumption. Ohmite produces current sense resistors with TCR values as low as 40ppm, resistance as low as 0.0005Ω, tolerances down to 0.5%, and a wide range of mounting options from SMD to SOT-227 heat sinkable. Power dissipation ranges from 0.125W to 100W in the SOT package.

60 Two Terminal Metal Element Resistors

Ohmite 60 Series Two Terminal Metal Element Current Sense Resistors are non-inductive, 3-piece welded element resistors that offer a reliable low-cost alternative to conventional current sense products. With resistance values as low as 0.005Ω, and wattages from 0.1W to 3W, the 60 Series offers a wide variety of design choices. The flameproof Ohmite 60 Series Two Terminal Metal Element Current Sense Resistors offer wirewound performance.
