Toshiba Automotive Solutions offers various automotive semiconductor devices designed to improve driving safety. This includes advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) using an image recognition processor. Toshiba provides leading-edge semiconductor technologies from a future perspective to deliver comprehensive driver assistance solutions. These solutions include self-driving that emulate human eyes and other intricate human senses.

AEC-Q100 Qualified Motor Control Devices

Toshiba AEC-Q100 Qualified Motor Control Devices are a portfolio of pre-driver ICs, H-Bridge drivers, and GATE drivers for automotive brushless and brush motors. The devices are housed in small packages and designed for high-current applications such as electric power steering (EPS). Brushed motor drivers can control a vehicle engine's throttle and other valves. Brushless devices drive a motor with a sine wave current to deliver smooth and quiet motor operation.

Automotive Devices

Toshiba Automotive Devices offer an extensive lineup of MOSFETs, optical isolation, transistors, and diodes, to cover various automotive applications in 12V to 48V battery systems. In addition, Toshiba offers automotive-grade motor control drivers. Toshiba automotive devices are AEC-Q100 and AEC-Q101 qualified.

Two-Phase Bipolar Stepping Motor Drivers

Toshiba Two-Phase Bipolar Stepping Motor Drivers use a PWM chopper driver controlled by a clock input. The Toshiba two-phase bipolar stepping motor drivers are fabricated with the BiCD (Bipolar, Complementary MOS, and Double-diffused MOS) process. The bipolar stepping motor drivers are rated from 40V/2.0A to 40V/3.0A. The Toshiba motor drivers use a single VM power supply to control the stepping motor through the on-chip voltage regulator.

Brushed DC Motor Driver ICs

Toshiba Brushed DC Motor Driver ICs provide a robust portfolio for various workhorse applications across industrial, consumer, healthcare, and automotive sectors. These devices are ideal for a vast array of applications, such as printers, actuators, locks, surveillance cameras, shades and blinds, dispensers, robotics, garage door openers, and H-bridge latching relays. Toshiba offers drivers with up to four channels, featuring many package options and several pin-to-pin compatible models with popular brushed motor drivers, which facilitate a user's multi-source strategy.
