G4 and E4 parts are exactly the same as the original parts
without the G4 or E4 suffix.

For lead-frame-based devices, the RoHS-compliant solution
is backward-compatible with lead-based processes; so the
same part is shipped regardless of whether a unique part
number or a standard part number is ordered.

Lead-frame-based unique part numbers will consist of the
standard part number plus a two-character suffix (usually
E4 or G4, sometimes E3, E6, G3 or G6).

TPS748 Low-Dropout (LDO) Linear Regulators

Texas Instruments TPS748 Low-Dropout (LDO) Linear Regulators provide an easy-to-use, robust power management solution for various applications. User-programmable soft-start minimizes stress on the input power source by reducing capacitive inrush current on start-up. The soft-start is monotonic and designed for powering many different types of processors and application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs). The enable input and power-good output allow easy sequencing with external regulators. This complete flexibility allows a solution to be configured that meets the sequencing requirements of field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), digital signal processors (DSPs), and other applications with special start-up requirements.

TPS74801/TPS74801-Q1 LDO Linear Regulators

Texas Instruments TPS74801/TPS74801-Q1 Low-Dropout (LDO) Linear Regulators offer an easy-to-use, robust power management solution for a wide variety of applications. These linear regulators provide user-programmable soft-start that minimizes stress on the input power source by reducing capacitive inrush current on start-up. The monotonic start-up is designed to power many types of processors and Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs). The TPS74801/TPS74801-Q1 regulators enable input and power good output that allow easy sequence with external regulators. These regulators provide precision reference and an error amplifier with 2% accuracy over line, load, temperature, and process. The TPS74801/TPS74801-Q1 LDO is stable with any capacitor greater than or equal to 2.2µF.
