Lead-free Connector Solutions

HUBER+SUHNER Lead-free Connector Solutions are designed to deliver the same levels of electrical performance as conventional connectors. Lead is widely known for improving machinability when added to alloys but if handled improperly, lead can have detrimental effects on human health and ecology. To restrict the use of lead in products, European legislative regulations such as the EU REACH (EC) No. 1907/2006, which deals with substances are in place. Other regulations include the EU’s RoHS directive (2011/65/EU), which deals with hazardous substance restrictions for electronic components.
